Golden Tiber

Rome in the warm light of a mid-October afternoon: Ponte Sisto and the Tiber running green under plane trees, Castel Sant'Angelo going gold, the fountains and domes of Piazza Navona, the obelisk outside the Pantheon, ivy steps in a side street, and the colonnade and dome of St Peter's. Graded warm so travertine and ochre glow like they do in late light.
