Province, Plainly

The French countryside left the colour it actually was: a stone oddity, a low farmhouse and an ivy ruin in the fields outside Pellegrue, the village water tower, a château lawn under an old oak, the market streets of Issigeac, the clock gate in Libourne, a morning street in Castillon-la-Bataille, the Dordogne at Eynesse and the Arcachon Bay at low tide on Cap Ferret. Edited lightly and kept true, for walls that want something quiet.
